What does VacationsTXT.com do?

At VacationsTXT.com we allow you to shop for Lake of the Ozarks vacation rentals then put you directly in touch with the owner, however you’d like – Instant Message (Live Chat), Telephone, or Email. You decide how you want to be contacted and we make the connection. Many properties we can even direct book for you, at no extra charge.

How do I look for vacation rentals?

To browse our complete selection of rentals input your trip date, the number of bedrooms needed, and your budget. To narrow your search by desired amenities click the “more options” icon and select your preferences – once finished click “close” and the matching units will be displayed in the bottom left hand corner. To view detailed information for each unit simply click on “more” and you will be able to view additional pictures, property descriptions, and unit specifics.

Let’s say I found a rental I like, what then?

Once you have found a rental you like click on the “more” option to navigate to the unit details page. From this page you will have the following communication options- you may “CHAT” (a chat icon will indicate if the owner is available), you may “CALL” (our service will ask for your phone number and connect a call between you and the owner), you may “CALL BACK” (we will take your contact information and leave a message for the owner to return your call), or you may “EMAIL” (our system will allow you to create an email and send it to the owner on your behalf).

How do I find other services at “The Lake”?

To browse our service directory, please locate the category icons appearing as polaroid photos along the upper border of our “bulletin board”. Click on each category for a detailed listing of corresponding services. Each merchant will have basic contact information provided as well as corresponding pin marking their location on the map.

How do I save information about the rental/services I might want to use?

As you browse our website or shop for that rental and find places of interest saving that information is both simple and fast – just click on “Add to Favorites” and we will keep all of that information for you! At any time you can click on “Faves” and we will take you to YOUR list from which you can review and edit at any time.
